Rough Terrain.
Crocheting, shopping at old lady stores, and listening to a variation of both classical music and news talk radio has made many people think that I’m a 95 year old lady stuck in a 21 year old’s body. Fortunatley, one segment of news talk radio last fall was a main deciding factor in my decision to travel this summer. As I leave for my trip tomorrow, I can’t help but think of some investment banker guy’s talk show. He said that after spending a lot of time in Sun City with his parents, and talking to a lot of Sun City residents, each of them said one of two things. They said that they either traveled when they were young and it changed their life, or that they wish that they would’ve traveled when they were young, but were still holding it off for another year. A friend of mine studied abroad in Alicante, Spain two summers ago, and is one of those people that absolutely cannot live without their board. She said that it was the best experience of her entire life. The only drawback to her trip was the fact that she had to skate on cobblestone most of the time. What’s the roughest terrain you’ve had to ride on!?
