About Us

We started out in Ventura, California in 2003 determined to shape a truck company into a viable existence in the skate industry. For us, it was all about quality products that were made 100% in the US. Unlike now, the larger population of skaters didn’t care too much about where the goods were made at that time. We fought for several years to keep our values of US manufacturing a staple in our company and were ultimately forced to shelve the trucks for a while. This brought about the beginning of board and wheel manufacturing…

The transition from manufacturing only trucks into manufacturing Deville Longboards came about slowly. We used trial and error as a means of evolution; testing several products to failure, researching all of our options from materials to industry trends, and finding good people along the way to make us who we are today. We believe our people are our biggest asset. That’s why we run our company by means of a family like atmosphere: appreciating each others opinions and input (well, most of the time) and expecting a lot from each other both inside and outside of our warehouse walls. We sincerely want everyone here to be a success in their own right.

We have strong backgrounds in surfing, skating, and snowboarding and have come to understand the ebb and flow of the skate industry but, there is something else that we feel inclined to share because it has had a huge impact on our designs and vision of Deville…an era we now call ‘Restore the Rods for Resources’. If you have ever owned a business, you know how difficult it is and you know that cash can be hard to come by at times. In order to persevere through some of the tougher times, we restored old hot rods and sold them for cash. We were slangin’ rods for a long while in order to pay the bills…so we know rods! Our wave designs came from our roots in the action sports industry and our rod designs come from our history in the rod culture. Put them together and you have a sweet ride called a Deville Skateboard.

Our rides, better known as Deville Skateboards, are now developed and headquartered in good ol’ Mesa, Arizona, a place that has a strong longboarding community. We can thrive here without the hassle of industry saturation and we are a stones throw away from where it all began in California.

Here in AZ, paying bills with rod resources and maintaining low overhead that AZ provides, we have developed into a full fledge manufacturer of Deville Skateboards. This includes quality boards, Navigator Trucks (Yes! We brought them back – bigger and better), Deville Wheels, Knucklehead bearings, and much, much more.

We continue to research and use as many US businesses to facilitate our needs as a company, as possible. These days, it’s a tough feat to accomplish. However, our goal for the future is to manufacture 100% in the US.
